They assisted me from afar, through a long period of time, while I was waiting for my house to sell. They readily corresponded with me, providing information and advise about what kind of home i might want to look for. I sent numerous MLS listings that interested me, and they patiently listened (1 year passed,) and took interest, offering their expert advise. They kept in touch! Immediately upon the sell of my house in Utah, they jumped into high gear with great urgency, to find me a home to purchase. I was unable to make a trip to the Northshore, tri-city area of Mandeville, Madisonville, and Covington, where I wanted to move, and I also wasn't familiar with the locations of various areas. RERG seemed to have an uncanny sense of what I needed and the kind of home and location that would be perfect for my aesthetic sensibilities. They also knew I was working with a time-line since I wanted to move in immediately upon arriving. They advised me of what they felt would be a fair offer, however, after they further researched, was able to negotiate a deal on a house that turned out to be considerably lower than I originally expected. Furthermore, they took care of all the paperwork, closing, cleaning, and my other obsessions, about buying a new home, while I was en route to Louisiana. When I arrived in Covington, LA to see my new home, sight-unseen, I found the house to be even more than I expected. It satisfied the WOW! factor, and they made it happen for me. We had been burned by the "Listers", big name realtors you see on signs who are about listing your home, but immediately pawn you off to inexperienced and often unlicensed assistants to market and show your property. Twice we had to market our own home to the buyers agent - then pay a commission to the "listing agent". Then you met them at the condo and made sure everything was done perfectly. These are tasks that are normally the sellerâ€™s responsibilities.
